Making Art + Spaces That Remember

Inspired by vintage textiles, worn surfaces, and materials shaped by time, Artelier brings together Dara Kay Barker's work in fine art and interiors.

Each painting and space begins with the same consideration: how light moves through a room, how texture reveals itself over time, and how objects and materials contribute to a larger sense of atmosphere.

Built through layers, revision, and careful restraint, the work explores the tension between structure and softness, creating spaces and surfaces that feel deeply rooted in their surroundings.
